Mauritius

Mauritius is a magical island where the beaches are gorgeous, the turquoise lagoons are breathtaking, you can hike in the mountains, explore the rainforest, and chase waterfalls…Apart from the sunshine, white sand, and 50 shades of blue, there is so much history here, spirituality, yummy food, and overall good vibes.

#2 Kos

Kos, Greece

The Greek Islands are always winners, right? Traditional white houses combined with that beautiful blue, gorgeous beaches, cozy villages, sailing, and the food, oh don’t get me started on the food! Kos is one of my favorite islands as it is smaller and less crowded, it is however just as lively, fun, and breathtaking!

#3 Bonaire

Bonaire

Bonaire is one of the ABC Dutch Caribbean islands, it’s smaller than the other two and less touristic which is the biggest attraction of it. It’s absolutely stunning! Unspoiled nature, reefs & an underwater world to explore, and isolated smaller islands to visit. There is a contrast between what you’ll see and some of the island’s dark history such as slavery. To sum it up; gorgeous beaches, nature, animals, history, and people!

#4 Sal, Cabo Verde

Sal, Cabo Verde

Sal is part of Cape Verde, a group of ten islands off the west coast of Africa, this relatively unknown paradise is a former Portuguese colony. I completely fell in love with Sal and have even returned a couple of times, which is something I rarely do as I'm always looking for the next new destination to explore. Beaches, sunshine, cozy villages, food, diving, and they even have their own version of the Dead Sea!
