Segovia is probably most known for the ancient Roman aqueduct located at the heart and entrance to the city. This aqueduct is by far one of the best-preserved in Europe and is an iconic symbol of Segovia also featured in the city's coat of arms. This amazing structure consists of a staggering 165 arches made of granite blocks. It was built under the Roman emperor Trajan and is still in some use. How amazing is that, right?

Visit the Cathedral of Segovia: The Cathedral is located at the top of the hill, offering spectacular panoramic views of Segovia and its surroundings. The church designed in the Gothic-Roman style was dedicated to the Virgin Mary and dates back to the 16th century. It has taken close to 70 years to complete! The Cathedral has three doorways, multiple chappels, a tower, and a sanctuary showcasing wonderful façades, unique artworks, and altars.

Explore the Jewish quarter: In the old Jewish quarter like the one in Toledo, you will learn about and see the rich history and legacy left behind by the Sephardic Jewish community. This prosperous community lived here until the Diaspora (the explosion of the Jews from Spain and Portugal by Queen Isabella). An important landmark is the last remaining synagogue of the five that once existed here. As well as the seven gateways to the quarter and the Jewish Cemetery on the bank of the Clamores River.

Visit Trujillo located about two and a half hours from Segovia: This town is breathtaking and oh so interesting to walk through and experience. Many different rulers have lived here through the centuries such as the Romans and the Moors making it a historical hub of sorts.
Trujillo was built on a hillside, and Plaza Mayor serves as the central point of the town, this iconic square is also believed to be one of the artistic landmarks of the entire country. There are many landmarks to see here such as the churches, walking on the wall that surrounds the town, of course here too you'll find a Moorish castle, and so much more. The surrounding landscape is something to admire as well.
